In this tutorial you will learn how to install mods from your local machine to your dedicated server via an FTP program like FileZilla.
Navigate to DayZ Steam Workshop on your local PC.
Find the mods you would like to install and click Subscribe.
3. Once it is finished installing launch DayZ and go to the MODS tab.
4. Click the drop-down arrow on one of the mods, then the three dots and Open Folder in Windows Explorer.
5. Copy and paste these mods to a new folder on your Desktop.
Now we're ready to upload the mods to your server itself.
Installing Mods onto your DayZ Server
Login to your control panel and Stop your server.
Connect to your server via FileZilla.
Within FileZilla, navigate to the mods folder on your desktop and upload these to your main server directory by dragging and dropping.
4. For each mod, open their folder and navigate to the Keys folder. Upload the file from there to the keys folder in your main server directory.
5. Next we must tell the server to load our mod upon starting our server. Navigate to the Commandline Manager tab.
6. Once you load the page click the Select option next to the Modded Commandline.
7. Once you load the next screen, you want to ensure your mod is in the Set Mod Order text box with its correct mod name. In this example, it would be "@CF.". Ensure that every mod is separated with a semicolon (;).
8. Once you're done, click Apply at the bottom left of the window.
Congratulations! You've successfully uploaded a mod to your server via FTP! You can now safely start to server and enjoy your modded game.
